The 8th General Body Meeting.
The 8th General Body Meeting of our Association was held on 1st May 2023 in premises of Ramalam.
The discussions and resolutions re given below;
1. As it was requested in the previous meeting, the agenda of the meeting was informed in advance along with the notice of the meeting.
2. The President said, it is a great pleasure to all of us that MLA , Carporators and officials are recognizing our association.
The invitation of the Corporator. Jagadeesh Goud to all our association members to attend "Mallanna Jathara" program confirms it.
As he was not in a position to attend the program, passport on the information to the members. The members took initiation and attended the program.
The President thanked all the members for attending the program.
3. All the members appreciated the President for taking affords and creating such an eye-catching website for the association and giving so many details in the website. All the members gave him a big applause.
4. As it was discussed in the previous meeting, the application for updating the details is distributed among members for filling and submitting it to the executive committee.
5. In regard to the association building, MLA said that the March 2023 budget was already completed, it is only possible in the next budget, may be after May, 2023.
6. Sri Yadaiah garu, Sri A. Subba Rao garu and Sri Ramanamuni Srinivasarao garu explained the history, and the importance of Mayday as it is 1st May.
7. In the program "OKA MANCHI MATA" Sri Ram Prasad garu gave a quotation of 'Grateness of friendship'.
Dr. Jayanth Kumar gave a short speech for enlightenment of moral values in human beings, with a story authored by the King of Vijaya nagara dynasty, Sri Krishna Devarayalu, in the story of Khandikya Keshidvajopakhyanam form the epic "Amuktha malyada".
8. The new members Sri K. Yogananda Reddy garu, Sri Y. V. Chalapathi Rao garu and Sri B. Annapurna Rao garu were cordially invited in the association.
The new members introduced themselves to the association.
9. As part of " DOCTOR GARI AROGYA SALAHALU" program, Dr. C. M. Prabhu garu explained all about Common geriatric diseases, Prevention and Treatment .
The doubts of the members were clarified, in the 'question hour.'
The meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks by the Joint Secretary Sri Pandurangaiah garu.
